Sisseton Mission Trip - July 7, 2023

Our Mission Trip to Sisseton!

The team of Kathy Davolos, Paula Hebert, Melissa Meyer, Bob Carr, and Nathan Ruhde that River Glen commissioned and sent to Sisseton, South Dakota had a safe (though eventful) trip. Kathy, Paula, and Melissa spent four days teaching children ages 4-11 how to "Shine Jesus Light" through music, arts and crafts, Bible stories, and recreational time. Bob and Nathan were part of a work crew with a team from our sister congregation, Knox Presbyterian, that worked at one of the local Native American Presbyterian Churches. The team reported an having amazing, God-filled time. Ask them about the kids and their stories, Fort Sisseton, their newfound beekeeping skills, and Kenny the dog!
